Marco Capital is a dynamic, modern provider of legacy solutions serving the European and Lloyd’s insurance markets. The company has grown through key acquisitions expanding its capacity to provide outsourced insurance functions such as claims management and compliance at Lloyd’s.
Owned by Marco Capital, PoloWorks is a UK-based insurance services firm with two main divisions: Polo Managing Agency, managing syndicates at Lloyd’s of London, and Polo Commercial Insurance Services, offering compliance, back-office support, and turnkey solutions. Through streamlined regulatory, claims, and data support, PoloWorks empowers insurers with digital tools for growth.
The Challenge
After acquiring two specialty insurance units—now known as PoloWorks—Marco Capital sought a managed service provider (MSP) that could migrate them to an entirely new IT platform and support solution delivering comprehensive IT services, spanning ITSM, cloud solutions, networking, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and field support. The ideal partner would bring agility and the capacity to implement IT processes and policies on short notice, providing a tailored, responsive approach to meet PoloWorks’ evolving needs. Adaptability to evolving business requirements was essential, as Marco Capital entered a phase of rapid growth and sought to comprehensively outsource its IT functions.
Our Solution
Getronics produced an indicative, ROM-costed proposal within just three days which was refined in partnership with the PoloWorks team.
Our solution included two successful transition programmes first for PoloWorks and secondly for Marco Group, relocating both teams to two new UK sites. Focusing on a scalable platform and fully remotely delivered managed service model, Getronics implemented:
