Our strategy
In line with our mission and vision, there is one goal at the heart of Getronics' strategy: to be a long-term, trusted ICT partner for major organisations. We serve medium to large enterprises both locally and internationally.
Our client base
While seeking to win new clients, we will strive to extend the business we do with our current client base. To do this, we must ensure all clients understand the full range of Getronics capabilities. We must also ensure that we establish and sustain a reputation for excellent delivery with every client: our opportunities for new business will depend on their appreciation of what we already do for them.
Points for strategic focus
In order to reach our main strategic objective, Getronics will continue to concentrate on four points of strategic focus:
Local presence with global consistency

Through our global programmes we will continue to leverage both strong local presence and global consistency. This brings benefits to both Getronics and our clients in terms of quality and speed. Shared practice and process between all countries will also allow us to build international business. Our global programmes will continue to be augmented by local initiatives, allowing our individual country operations to profit from investments made in local specialisation.

Vendor independent with strong strategic alliance
As a vendor independent systems integrator, alliances and partnerships are very important for Getronics. Our clients rely on our ability to adopt and employ the latest technologies on their behalf. By developing high-quality relationships with technology leaders, we can ensure that we preserve our position. Our strategic global alliances with Microsoft, Cisco and Dell will continue.
Vertical focus
As Getronics seeks to develop a broader base of business with its individual clients, they naturally expect us to possess greater knowledge of their specific business issues. For this reason, Getronics is adopting a vertical industry focus in its commercial operations. This will allow us to get closer to our clients, and indeed to extend dialogue from a technical, operational and business level.
Profitability
Improving profitability is a core objective for every commercial organisation. We understand that effectiveness, productivity and internal efficiency are the key to improved profitability. We also recognise that they are equally important in ensuring high-quality delivery for our clients. As a company, we offer the best quality of solutions and services to our clients at a fair price. This is the real path to profitable operations. We do not seek to do business at any price.
